Hay unos cuantos tipos de peli que suelen ser bien recibidos a la hora de conseguir, como poco, unas cuantas nominaciones al Oscar. Uno de ellos son los dramas situados en el pasado y, realizado imprescindible, basados de una forma u otra en hechos reales. El último gran arquetipo de este tipo de cinta fue ‘El Discurso del Rey’, la cual termió llevándose el premio gordo para casa en lugar de ‘La Red Social’, obra que utilizaba elementos similares, pero mucho actuales y de una forma menos académica. Además, la cinta dirigida por Tom Hooper fue un gran éxito comercial al recaudar casi 415 millones de dólares a lo largo el planeta, mientras que su precio se redujo hasta los 15 millones. Era evidente que este tipo de peli iban a seguir haciéndose como si no hubiera un mañana, y en este momento nos viene el tráiler y el cartel de ‘Hyde Park 0n Hudson’, cinta que, al menos en principio, recuerda bastante a la protagonizada por Colin Firth.

‘Hyde Park 0n Hudson’ nos contará un fin de semana en el que el presidente americano Franklin D. Roosevelt (Bill Murray) y su esposa se retiran a un lugar cercano al Hudson junto al Rey inglés George VI y la reina Elizabeth. La idea es meditar si entrar o no en la guerra en la que Reino Unido está a punto de embarcarse. Además, está por ahí una prima de Roosevelt que las malas lenguas decían que era su amante, la cual complicará un poco mas la situación. Tambien de a Murray, en un papel que huele a, como poco, nominación al Oscar, podremos visualizar a Laura Linney, Olivia Williams, Samuel West y Olivia Colman. Sorprende la determinación de encomendar una cinta de estas propiedades a Roger Michell, popular principalmente por haber dirigido ‘Notting hill’ y cuyo último labor fue la entretenida pero inocua ‘Morning glory’.

La verdad es que tengo sensaciones encontradas con el tráiler, ya que me agrada al principio, pero al fin termió algo cansado del tono del mismo. Para constatar cuál de las 2 reacciones se adapta mas a lo que es la peli habrá que esperar hasta el 7 de diciembre en USA, pero aún se desconoce la fecha de su venida a los cines españoles.
