Daksh exceedingly humiliates Sati by cursing Mahadev. She yells at Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Lakshmi for not protesting against Daksh’s opinion. Later, Daksh gets infuriated by Sati’s opposition and curses her. Sati decides to renounce her life for the sake of Mahadev. She tries to burn herself in the fire, but Prasuti stops her. Mahadev is annoyed to observe Sati’s critical condition.

1. which God you worship is irrelevant. you should not bad-mouth anyone, be it God or human or another creature.
2. bhakti of Vishnu IS possible without the blessings of Shiva, but if you talk bad about Shiva, Vishnu might reject you.
3. There’s this story of a certain devotee who hated Shiva beyond imagination, and performed Tapasya to see Vishnu – in the end, Vishnu did appear, but in the form of Shiva to teach the mortal a lesson.

19:10 was the most interesting part of this episode. It implies that there were earlier stories of Shiv failing to unify w/ Shakti. I would like to know of those stories as well. Before this episode, I was under the impression that this was the first time Shiv was trying to rejoin with Shakti since he initially abandoned Shakti as a favor to Brahma in order to create the world.
